I felt sorry for what have happen to Canny. I hope she is fine and nothing happen to her. I do not know her but I get to know this horrible incident from the newspaper. What we can do is hoping and pray that she is safe from harm.

My wife and I were very distressed by what could possibly happened. The full report is coming out at any moment now. Eventhough all the evidence is pointing to that the body belong to Canny's. I could not imagine how agonizing it this for the family members and to her husband Brendon who have to hear all the details of what could possibly happened to Canny. Nobody deserve to experience this. It's more painfull than one could imagine. We could only pray for Canny safety.

Oh My God! It's confirmed! Canny is dead. I'm so sorry it came to this. We were all praying she would be ok.

May God bless her and help keep her family and Brendon strong in their time of need.

I have e-mailed Eartha to keep her informed and as at 4:30 PM 23rd June 2003, DNA testing has confirmed that the recovered charred body is Canny.

The more I read about this, the more angry I'm getting. Why? Why must this happen at all?

At least the police arrested the murderer, and even more frightening is that there are reports saying he's Indonesian and not Malaysian.

I have a friend whose friend was with Canny at the restauraunt that night she was abducted. Though i dont know her personally, I do feel deeply for her family, and for her husband who flew all the way back, only to be told that she is dead. As Malaysians, we grow up in more 'street-like' surroundings and are rarely afraid of anything. Two weeks ago i was back in KL and i arrived at 3 am at the bus station, alone and didnt even know the meaning of 'fear and danger'. A lesson to us all. Canny, May you rest in peace. God bless you.
